TODAY WAS BEAUTIFUL/GORGEOUS DAY.

yesterday after coming home from a long night out with my friends after eating snoballs,i arrived in my room with a ups package,postmarked from texas,i opened the bag without anyhesitation,and there it was wrapped in red tissue paper,my vinatge silk shirt donned with anchors,black and white diamonds prints,and other things that reminded me of chic sailors who would attend harlequin-esque dinner parties.
i had an idea,that had been popping in and out of my mind ever since i pressed bid now on that shirt on the wonderful cybersite we all know as Ebay.
Now that i had the shirt in my manly-ish hands i thought full on white would so compliment the busy-ness printed on the shirt.

i woke up the next morning and slipped on my h&m pleather pants and scrunched them up like leggings even though it was already 70 degrees outside at 7am,and put some over,OVER bleached denim cut off shorts over top and voila i was feeling chic as ever.

trust me.

i also today,recieved my sephora package today,i cant wait to try out my new products,ill post them l8r,buh bye.

last night after finishing up my last post on this blog,i was googling coachella from last year and while perusing through pictures,i kept seeing bleach,bleach and and more bleach being applied to denim,shoes,tee's and other articles of clothing and accesories,and before i fell asleep i did alittle deconstructing and ripped the sleeves off of my h&m sweater with a knife and tied the bottom half of the shirt in a knot and placed it in my bath tub and down went the bleach all over the shirt,the results brung me back to memories of playying with dragons wheni was a child,the fire the torch,the shirt looked like a scene captured from a mythical dragon dungeon.
....i was in love.

that post title basically sums up my group of photos a few scrolls down,after playing basketball(my coach forced me)..i hurried downstairs so that i could get changed quickly so that i could catch my bus,as i was putting my clothes on i noticed that there wasnt a single sound coming from the depths of the gym changing room,and i realized instantly....."PHOTO OP",so i pulled out my appareil de photo(french for camera) and started snapping away.

anyways ive been so busy as usual with school work and other ishhh,im still waiting on a response from CitiBank about my application for a huge loan amount so that i can attend Parsons,and ive been getting my prom stuff together,i just bought a tie with polka dots and some ear jewelry from the topman store online,i hope it arrives on time,

sory ive been so distant,ive been packing up hundreds of magazines that i have collected over the past 4 years,sorting through my fashion phases in my closet,from the prep look to my now stable dark/goth mix style,and boxing up tons of beautiful scarves that i adore each day.
i still have much to clean,i was supposed to go to school today but i felt so unprepared so i just slept in and did more work on the house,we hope to move this saturday,i cant wait to start over in a new setting,

on the last day of march,approxiamtely 7:52 i was sent on a thirty minute break by my ever so generous manager,i frantically packed up my wallet head phones and my iphone and headed straight out of the doors toward my destinaton,i was on a mission,mission:green gator shoes.i walked from my job to the goodwill which with my speed walking abilities only took me about 9 minutes to arrive,as i walked in the store i was greeted by the guy that always rings me up at the register,he told me with my eyes wide open,"They're still here don't worry".

i almost wet myself because i was so excited for my latest purchase,he told they were meant for me,and i believed him,look below to see what im all worked up about.

i wore my eyeline today,idk if you could see it well enough,with it on i felt like i could conquer the grunge world.

im going to be working alot in the next few days and cracking down on my school studies so for a nice graduation present of my desired choice and i have to pay my parsons tuition deposit so bare with me,im gonna get back on track,promise.

today was an awesome day,i recieved my test back in AP biology and i scored the highest grade in the class.Also,today i went up to the goodwill today and i found this beautiful black and white houndstooth jacket/blazer it's a perfect fit,i cant wait to show it off tomorrow.

kinda decided to place my vintage balenciaga scarf in my back pocket rather thn the usual tie aroud the next technique,i believe it set this outfit on fiyah!

I was reading through this article on NYmag's The CUT about men's make up and i was kinda inspired by the article in the new issue of Dazed and Confused about gender bending,and i bought some MAC eyeliner today,im gonna wear that tomorrow too.I was alittle dissapointed after leaving the Goodwill because i happened to notice these green algae colored alligator boots that stole my heart,i tried them on and they were the perfect size,they were 25 dollars and i onmly had 14 with me,im going back to the store this week,THEY BETTER BE THERE!

yesterday i went out to dinner to TGIF(my mother treated,a small birthday gift),and i was with my mother and i bumped into my great-uncle when i learned that he is an stain glass artist downtown,and he helped built some of the buildings in downtown baltimore,he also installed elevators,so i guess the artist in me runs in the family,

for dinner i had these tasty(AND I MEAN TASTY)fried stings beans with some ranch/wasabi dip,i swear it was thee best. i had to get dressed up,i just felt like it,i dont know if this is technically getting dressed up but whatev.

I wore my alexander wang blazer(that i just cant get enough of)so i was GOOD,

my birthday is actually in 2 DAYS,yipp

well,sorry.

that sums up the past few weeks of my life.

somewhere in that mash-up i reviewed fashion week photos and videos(mostly of past alexander wang collections) til around 2am every night,it's there's something about fashion that just completely reigns victorious over my body and i just get this full burst of adrenaline.

yesterday while perusing the beautiful photos from the anonymous photographer of jakandjil i feisted my eyes upon this.

after coping with the fact that i was wait listed at FIT,then came the ben&jerry's ice cream(cookie dough),cool ranch doritos,reeses buttercup's and much more chocalety goodness,and a 20 pound weight gain(exaggeration),i after two days was fed up with being supe depressed and decided to treat myself with some shopping therapy,i bought a few things that i loved as soon as i layed my brown eyes upon them,

i saw,i drooled,i bought.
you'll be seeing my new purchases in a couple of weeks,

but anyways after the "shopping therapy session" i said to myself...
"detron you havent taken any pictures in sometime"
then i said,"well gosh darn it i haven't and i think this is the perfect time(mind you this is at 7pm at night)"
then myself said to me,"yippy,now lets go get the camera,and effing work the shiznit out of that lens."
then i said to myself,"you are damn right!!!".

i watched the movie starring hilary swank as a hermaphrodite and chloe sevigny as her potential lover in "Boy's Don't Cry". while being inspired by the what chloe sevigny's character wore and her style as a whole. i proved that movie wrong because in the last 15 minutes of the movie this boy(meaning me me me)cried(like bursting tears) for that duration,that movie is really beautiful and touching,it really shows how really really mean and hating a human can really be towards another human just for being different from the rest.

nothing to thrilling today happened except i almost lost my Iphone,i tried to be as joyful as possible today after learning that i was wait listed for admissions into FIT(but i will keep faith),anyways after playing volleyball in gym i quickly ran outside after the bell rang for school dismissal and took some pictures,

i found this new found glory in jumping while taking photo's,i hope the results keep getting better and better!!

nothing really special happened to day except that i got to wear my leopard/belt print silk shirt from the cobra shop(a shop by the cobrasnake),it's one of kind,and it's so beautiful,i think i might be purchasing more stuff from there.
I also sent my scholarship essay for the art institute of philly,wish me luck

and all day of course,in my school,i was asked questions in regards to my jeans like ...
where are your private parts?
how did you get them on?
how will you take them off?
does it hurt?
and most famous can you breathe?
following those questions i gave them a karlie kloss death stare and said,"im chic,so what".
i dont think people understand me there,

48 hours and some minutes ago i was tagged by the creative/beautiful blogette "this wheel's on fire" ,and there was a q&a that came along with this tag.

describe you personal style?
all that i can say about my style,it is very dark,and i usually think back to the dazed and confused august issue of quotes with givenchy designer ricardo tisci and he talked about the feeling behind his fw0809 collection and how darkness is an emotional feeling and the mystery behind it is only known by the person wearing it.i also look at parisian architecture,because i really love mixed proportions in my outfits.all in all i love looking dark and mysterious,it makes me feel powerful,and thats how i like it.if i take two words and describe my style,i choose parisian/mystery.
what are the staples in your wardrobe?
a few staples in my wardrobe that i cannot get enough of are my self ripped black levi's jeans,they are so form fitting and they look the best when paired with another staple of mine,which is my american apparel circle scarf which can be worn absolutely anyway possible,and my american apparel v-neck's i have them in assorted colors like,nude,black,white,grey,acid wash green and purple,they always show just enough skin to get me through the day.

what's your signature look?
i dont think i have a signature look,because i never like to wear the same things more than once,but if i tried to have one it would be my black levi jeans,balck vneck tee,and a nice silver shiny belt.

what inspires you?
one thing that inspires me are men that takes risks with fashion,during menswear fashion week,especially in paris all the streetstyle blogs like the sartorialist,displays the most fashion forward men in the fashion industry,adn everytime i see new picture of a man that takes a risk with fashion,proportions,accesories and other things related to style,give me the confidence to wear just whatever i want no matter what others thought.
who is your fashion muse?
hmmmmmmmmm i think my fashion muse would have to be myself,everyday in any situation i am in,i will always be thinking about my past ideas about fashion,and also i dream about what i will be wearing in the next year,and the next ten years,i really see myself as my very own fashion muse.
favorite purchase of all time?
my favorite pruchase of all time so far would have to be my aa circle scarf,the many possibilites are so inspiring,the proportions that you can create with that huge pieces of fabric is wonderful,the shapes and drapes that are curated when i put my arm there and then there and then there,i truely love that item and im thinking about buying another one very soon,just in case.

biggest splurge?
i havent spent the money yet but i will in the upcoming weeks,actually before this month is over im going to be buying my prom shoes which are these Yves Saint Laurent leopard print 2inch heeled boots that are going to stay with me forever and ever and ever,i think i might sleep with them on my feet for a couple of days,they are worth about 3 of my paychecks but you know what,life is short.

what's your beauty routine?
well after finally over coming teenage acne(ughhhhhhhhh that was not a great time in my life),i had been trying many different products in the market of facial caring,and i have finally found the answer,which is the facial cleanser brand called Burt's bee's and its made of soap bark and chamomile,i also use the brands night and day revitalizing cream every morning,its a little slick when putting on my face but after about a couple of second it settles down and i feel wonderful,and for my dry lips i use the (what do you know)burts bee's honey lipbalm,i think i should be there spokes person for sho!

what jewelery do you never take off?
ohhh i like this question alot,because i heart my jewelery.i have many things on my wrist that i never take off and one necklace that i never ever take off.on my wrist i have my studs and spikes black cone studded bracelet,my h&m chain linked bracelet that has faded into this rustic color thta i just cant get enough over,it has broke a coupleof times but im not done with it just yet so i fixed it!,and i also have this silver linked chain necklace that i bought from the thrift store about a year ago and i havent taken it off since,literally form getting in the shower to working at my job.I also have this beautiful silver studded snap on faul leather bracelet that was given to me buy this hispanic guy that had it on his own wrist for free,he said it was given to him by his exgirlfreid so it doesnt mean anything to him,i ve had it on since last november.and finally my necklace that has a unicorn and a red kinda pearlescent ball dangling form the string is my close to my heart,ive had it on for two years,i bought it form the thrift store and it add accent to each of my outfits,i think its alive though because it glows when ever im smiling in the mirror.

what are you wishing for?
im wishing for every guy or girl that feels that they have no body to talk to about being homosexual and feels ashamed,just come out,because im telling you the truth,that it is okay,no matter what anyone thinks,it is okay and you will get through it,i promise.
im also wishing for a chance to live my dream in the fashion industry and eventually own my own boutique that is going to be named "the youth".

what are your obsessions?
my obsessions would have to be cinnamon raisin bagels by sara lee,ricardo tisci and his beautiful mind,black boots,models(lara stone in particular),tattoo's that mean something,parisian architecture,and music that makes me either get goosebumps or wanna stomp down the runway like natasha poly.

ughhhhh i haven't gotten a true 7 hours of sleep since middle school,im not even kidding,being a teenager in high school,working almost more than part-time hours at my job,and dealing with college preparation tasks,is this what life is going to be like once i hit adulthood,if so i dont want it,but then again im gonna have to want it if i want to be something in the future.anyways,basically what im trying to say is that im tired and i just want to hibernate until april arrives,and only pop up while fashion week is occurring.

is that too much too ask for???

enough with the rantings,here are some pics i took today in this beautiful weather,im telling you it was perfect,
last night i stayed up very late writing my scholarship essay for the art institute of philly,12 frigging pages!!!!! i better get the full effing tuition,i put my heart and soul into that project.

today i felt a little french today with all the stripes and leather(pleather) and the skinny jeans with a harsh cuff at the hem of the jeans,and the rips and other sh**.

The day, it seemed almost perfect,i did very well in school today,i did a presentation on gay rights today,ill share with you the essay that i wrote when i get it back from my teacher,i also received my live album download by the fray,which got me through the whole day,i was so excited to get home i just couldn't take it anymore,so i took some quick photos near this water bank thingy near my neighborhood,i saw the setting and i thought what a great backdrop and the color palette was great for my outfit of desire that day,and OH i got to wear my junior prom shoes outside of the house for the first time,they are from bed stu and they make me feel so powerful,i am crazy about em',now.

im awaiting my purchase from the cobrasnake shop and the physical album of the fray,i wish that darn mailman had powers that would allow me to get all the packages instantaneously(but i guess patience is a virtue),im telling you from the depths of my blood-pumpin'heart that this band and there perfect music has helped me get through my early teen years in so many ways that i couldn't type because i would probably obtain tons of strain on my young eyes,so ill just say that the bands lead singer's voice is beautiful and heart wrenching you have to one day listen to there cd or songs on like mtv.com or on there own website right here.
trust me your gonna love them,

i was so so thrilled this morning after taking my shower and doing my daily routine of stomach crunches,i slipped on my drop crotch diy pants and headed off to what i call my fashion show(my school)if you really really think about it when you are going to school your basically entering a fashion show you have the critics(your peers)the runway(school hallway)the models(the students) and then you have the clothing that we out on everyday by a certain designer or company that showcases there style,it may seem like a weird comparison.

even though none of these people are professionals at what they are assigned to be in my mind.

i was kinda inspired by the givenchy ss09 collection by ricardo tisci even though i didn't have on any lace or leggings,i felt i had the essence of the collection on point.

anyways i took some pics today when i got home,the pictures that i took today in school didn't feel like me,i know that sounds weird but i felt like i wasn't expressing myself in a way that i wanted,so here they are and enjoy,

today after coming from work i ran to the thrift store that i thought burned down about 2 weeks ago,and i picked up a couple of things,i got this pleather/cotton like shirt that reminds me of this.
i also bought this nice tailored vest,and this beautifully cut blazer by bill blass.

all of which are in the color black of course,i also traveled 10 minutes from there to the dollar store and bought some fleece/cotton sweatpants for only $3.60,and i immediately thought to myself DROP CROTCH ALERT!(ding dong)

so i arrive home as quickly as possible,and i achieved exactly what i had in mind,the perfect drop crotch pants,i finished them in about an hour and im just head over christian louboutin heels about them,i cant wait for you guys to peep them tomorrow when i take some pics.

sorry no outfit posts today(i had to work,and im yawning right now),but her's a lil' something something.

yes im up very late tonight,it 1;46 am and im blogging because i forgot to mention my latest additions into my wonderful life,

from my gollyjolly mailman i recieved....

my lara stone covered french vogue magazine,ive looked through the magazine about three times so far,i want to rip all the editorials from of lara(all of them are of lara)and plaster on my eggshell painted wall.

i also got my new cone-studded bracelet form studs and spikes(jewelry is kind of a new obsession for me)
it's so black,and it feels so good.

my new leopard print scarf came in the mail from oak nyc,its so beautiful,i actually got that yesterday and wore it to work today,i was so happy when i arrived at work with my new scraf tied weirdly around my thin neck.

last night i went on a little mini online shopping spree,i bought things that i loved,and not just wanted or though was just "cute",ever since reading the post by the beautiful androgynous gerry on blogspot(a very inspiring post i might add.),i want to learn how to buy statement pieces because half of the stuff in my closet i don't REALLY NEED.i hope to go to the thrift store this weekend,i haven't been there in some time,i feel a calling for some reason,maybe because i drove past the place a couple of times this week.

anyways,today i went to school today even though it was still effing icy all over the sidewalks and roads and i can attest to that,because i was a victim to the icy slopes in my neighborhood,and i have a bruise on my knee to prove it!

another day of no school,im happy but still deep in my mind i want to go back so that i can learn something,i fell like im being deprived of education by the snow(in some way).well during my non-school day i sat in the house eating my left over pineapple pizza until night fell,and then i wrote my parsons essay outta nowhere,i was watching the couture shows again and again and there it was i had a wondrous subject to write my 500-550 word essay about.

After releasing all of my words of inspiration on to my laptop,i got dressed and i headed out my house and what came to my pleasant surprise was my topman package,it was my faux fur scarf,i immediately ripped the thick plastic package open in a matter of seconds,admired the item with my lit brown eyes and threw it across my cold neck and threw my headphones on and listened to the kings of leon.Then I headed off down the street to pick up my check from my job(burger king) and cash my check at my bank,while i was walking pass the office depot i noticed this red neon light that prevailed the snow-clad sidewalk and i thought photo-op.

all through school today i was pointed out with with words following saying i love your blue shirt again and again and again and again!
i corrected a lot of people today,the color is called lapis,it's a shade of blue but its not just blue,it's lapis anyways that's what happened in school today,but when i got home i received a package form minnetonka,and there those beauties were,they were nice and crisp and clad in black,they were my minnetonka ankle  boots.ill show them to you guys tommorowi cant wait to wear them,to last you over till that time here are some pictures i took today after school,

i felt italian today,no i wasn't eating any pizza,and i didn't go to italy(although that would be awesome if i did),but i wore both shoes and my 100% Mongolian cashmere coat and they were both made in italy,i have the tags to prove it.

i was happy to wear my new barneys boots,i kinda flip the style of the shoe and turned the shaft of the boot downwards as if the boots were tied tightly letting the flaps hang loosely,i felt kinda italian pirate-ish :)
and then the big stunner of my outfit was the coat,ohh lala,it kept me warm in with every walk i took outside in that 10 degree weather.

another day of no school,but today was inauguration day can you blame me?
and im glad i stayed home because a lot of good things fluttered in my direction,i received my cheap monday leather wedge jeans in the mail,i waited on my balcony for the mail man freezing my booty off,(sometimes the mail man pops up at weird different times.)i kinda talked the mailman to death about the inaugerration i could sense he was annoyed so i went on my merry merry way and tried on my jeans,and guess what,they fit me perfectly!
while waiting on the mail man i took some pics,in the sun shinin' freezing cold weather(ill do anything for an photo opt).
anyways here they are,enjoy

as you can see im in love with my doc marten chelsea boots they are so comfortable and they are troopers in the snow(except when facing the steep hill eek eek!),and my AA sunnies are too die for,ill hopefully have them for the rest of my life,ive worn them even in the rain,sleet and snow(obviously),the make me feel like a star.(its always nice to have things that make you feel that way.)

yeah i cant believe it either,but it's happening,and i feel damn good about it.

he has set a tone,a beautiful harmonious tone for not only america but for the entire effing world.barack obama is his name and he is portraying change,good change,i know that he ideas wont provide that quick fix,or an instant turn around but his attitude and humane gestures will allow america to heal,and to gradually make its comeback,i believe in him,you should too.if he believes in us then i think we owe him alittle something.

whilst playing with my new fuji film camera,i clicked on this mode deemed "night",i had no idea what it did so i snapped a few photos and the results shocked,enthralled and amazed me all at once.
when i walked into my living room i saw these two cats that had been with my family for about 10 years and fully clad in disco stones,i knew at that point i had to do a few test shots and when i say a few i mean more way way more that a few!

when i hooked the camera up to my laptop i immediately was thinking back to the late night nyc clubbing photos of hipsters on thecobrasnake.com.

i had no school today thanks to dr.martin luther king jr.(god bless you) so i woke up around 9 am by a crying little brother,then i went to office depot to get a memory card for my new fuji camera,but when i stepped outside form my house what came to my eyes was a delightful surprise(SNOW),it was everywhere and it was shooting down so fast it kinda blinded me and i slipped and fell down this steep hill about 10 times before i got in the car.after i came from office depot i took some photos and fell some more,here are the results enjoy.

Here i go again,ever since new years(jan09)ive had this yearning feeling to venture out and create a new blog.For some reason i cannot stick to one particular thing for a long period of time.Im doing this to present my beautiful ideas of what fashion is to me,and i want my style to also be shown so that i could evolve into a much chic-er guy in the future.I dont know if anyone will ever understand how much fashion has impacted me and why i have fallen in love with its charming ways,but hopefully through these many posts you will gather some clue.While I embark on this new/same adventure of "blogging" i will be posting outfits of myself(because i so heart fashion),photos of my favorite supah model lara stone who will cover this site indefinitely because of her frnech aesthetic that i covet,plus beautiful quotes that inspire me and random day to day information that will be popping up,just for filler posts.Oh but dont you fret,im positive that the persons who get the chance to hop over to this blog will indeed be either weirded out or intrigued by my persona.
