I enjoyed tremendously this first book in The Montana McKennas series. Brody, a tired rodeo bull rider who returns to his childhood home because his stepfather was in a coma, and Stef, Brody’s girlfriend in his late teens before he left for his lucrative bull riding career, meet again at the guest ranch “where it all began.” Things are touchy and both Brody and Stef, who have been hurt in past relationships, dance around each other trying to come to grips with their personal pasts and to accept their growing attraction for each other. Reaching their happy-ever-after is a heartwarming story and I can’t wait to read the rest of this series!Product details

I loved this book,there is nothing like a lost romance finally coming together again and a child finding a parent.I am looking forward to reading about the rest of the McKennas family books.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Brody was certainly a hottie. I, personally, do not care for men with blond hair but Brody could definitely change my mind on that. I can't wait to read the next book in this series. I never post spoilers, I don't want to ruin it for other people but I will say that I highly recommend this story.
Brody is a tough character. You have to feel sorry for the tough times he's had. He's made some tough situations for himself which left him with tough decisions to make. Things didn't always go well. Rounding up the pieces in the story was a little awkward as was the work through.
Unfortunately, this short little story was a very big disappointment. I must have bought it when it was .99¢ as I cannot see spending $2.99 on this book. The story line was predictable, I won't give any spoilers, but in the hour that it took to read it everything was already spelled pot if you are even just a "sometimes" reader. Just thankful the grammar and punctuation were better than the first but won't continue the series unless I can borrow it. Not a hit for the author, unfortunately. She is usually spot on but both books in this series have been nothing to get excited over. What a shame.
I loved reading Brody The Montana McKennas (Montana Ranchers Book 2), all about Brody Caldera & Stephanie the women he walked away from when she turned up pregnant with his child. She gave him an ultimatum stay with me & the baby or go ride champion Bulls, he chose bulls and walked away. Now he's back because his step-dad James McKenna has had a terrible accident and is lying in a comma in the hospital. His Mom Liz asked him to come home and help with the dude ranch. The author wrote an incredible story about a blended family who have grown to love one another and then went off and did their own thing and are just coming back together because of a tragic accident! In book one you get to meet the entire family, and in book two you get to meet Brody the first step-son and his love and their little one! I can't wait to read book three all about Callie the first daughter of James!
Rodeo Star Brody Caldera realizes the mistake he made years ago when he left his sweetheart and headed off to make his name in the Pro Bull Riding circuit. He returns home for a family emergency to discover the girl he'd loved years ago was living at the ranch, helping with one of the businesses. Seeing her again reminded him of what he'd lost and how much he'd missed while chasing fame and fortune. I've never been on a dude ranch, but reading this story made me feel like I had. I could almost smell the leather and fresh mountain air. Who doesn't love a sexy cowboy with a big heart? If you enjoy western romance, beautiful scenery, and a story that will make you smile, this book is for you.
